South Korea hosts exhibition on Morocco

The exhibition is held on the theme of “Treasures of the Mediterranean and North Africa, Morocco.”

SEOUL - The city of Seoul, South Korea, is hosting until April 9 an exhibition themed “Treasures of the Mediterranean and North Africa, Morocco.”

The event held at the Yeonpyeong Multicultural Museum, with the support of the Seoul Metropolitan Municipality, aims to showcase Morocco’s geography, society and culture for a better appreciation of the kingdom’s history and civilisation.

“The exhibition is expected to delight Korean and foreign visitors, offering them the opportunity to discover the treasures of Morocco, namely the pluralism and culture distinguishing it,” the Korean news agency “Yonhap” reported Friday, quoting Morocco’s ambassador in Seoul, Chafik Rachadi.

The opening ceremony  will be held on April 9 and will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Seoul City Hall, and the Korea-Africa Foundation, in addition to heads of foreign missions and other figures.
